When Dr. James Kim needed an app developer for a research project, his first thought was of the Bedtime Math app he used with his kids already. So he contacted Bedtime Math and asked them, “Who built that app for you?”
The researchers had something in mind that was significantly more complex than the Bedtime Math app which first sparked their interest, but the basic plan was the same: build an app that would be fun & educational, and would also gather enough analytics data that the team could fully understand the power of their educational system to affect reading scores in first and second graders.
